This film was gritty and full of action and drama, which is exactly what the Batman films should have been in the first Joel Schumacher stalled the franchise... Nolan took the Tim Burton formula of dark moods and turned it up several notches! Batman fan or not, viewers will definitely NOT be disappointed with this film.
